Tourists, we’re always trying to make it easier for you to find all the things you can do while you’re traveling in South America! We’re pleased to announce one of the newest ways you can find your next adventure with the addition of Santiago Tourist’s articles to the Field Trip app.

With the app you can find nearby things to do, places to eat and shop, or somewhere to sleep and more. You can have it running in the background to notify you when you’re near cool and unique things or just check it when you’re in need of ideas! We’ve already uploaded some of our favorite places in Santiago and elsewhere in Chile and will continue adding more regularly. As we expand our coverage, we will also be adding places all over South America.
This free app, from Google’s Niantic Labs, is available for download on both Apple and Android devices. It’s optimized to run on your smartphone, but you can also use it on your tablet. Even if you don’t have cell service as you travel, just log in to any local Wi-Fi network to receive notifications for noteworthy things to discover in the area.
